Course Description: 
 
This course archives a series of new cityscapes currently under construction or envisioned across global sites, including: underwater cities, jungle cities, island utopias, solitude districts, ghost towns, robot cities, simulated cities, and metropolises planned for the moon and Mars. These almost incomprehensible challenges for urban planning in the future—those ranging from questions of access, sustainability, public versus private space, and tourism—will force the next generation of city-makers to redefine the very notions of the center and the boundary.
