The Future Studies Program has designed a rare ongoing program of seven “prophetic encounters”. Each installment will stage a conversation of images, narratives, and radical philosophy between two Future Faculty surrounding one of seven conceptual passwords: Chimera, Cipher, Temple, Reign, Surface, Oracle, and Idol.

In each prophetic episode, speakers will be asked to present one obscure myth, aesthetic work, and emergent phenomenon that might allow us to peer into some strange futurity.

These seven installments were created as part of The Future Studies Program's exhibition for the Venice Biennale 2021.
