This course concentrates on the various types of futuristic cinema that have attempted to depict remote worlds in time and space. What do these filmic visions reveal about forthcoming plots that hover in the next scenes of the human saga?

What does futuristic cinema allow us to perceive ahead of the actual advent of historical movements, and how has the camera lens become a new instrument of prophecy of the untold?
