FUTURE ARCHITECTURE
Course Description:
This course will screen futuristic projects of form and formlessness, read bright and dark futurologies, scan, debate, and re-scan critical histories and theories of architecture, and ultimately produce a set of ‘black papers’ and design proposals that speculate on the next 50 to 1000 years. What are the new scales of structure and paradigms of space rising before us? What are the timeframes—decades, centuries, or millennia—that will guide new techniques of design and architectural imagination?
